Can you believe today is St. Patrick’s Day and Easter is in six days?
It has totally snuck up on me this year. I just dug our Easter decorations out last week. The girls were ecstatic to go through the baskets and play with the old plastic eggs. And then, I pulled the Rabbit out.
Two, maybe three, years ago now my mom sent Emma this little Easter bunny in a raincoat with an umbrella and it sings, “Singin’ In The Rain” (loudly) when you push its’ paw. Emma, of course, fell in love with it at first sight. It was a hit last year as well, but Addie wasn’t able to operate it on her own, so she relied on us to push the paw for her.
But she knows how to do it “all by myself” this year. It has been serenading us since I unwrapped it.
Find out what has everyone else “singing” this fine Monday morning over at Mother May I.

What a sweet photo… It’s nice to have special things for each holiday season!

Oh my gosh, we have a rabbit too! I haven’t pulled him out yet. I’m behind. Harrison LOVES that thing and plays it over and over. Ours came from Hallmark.

Is the serenading driving you nuts yet? Shealyn used to have a bunny that sang the “Bunny Hop”. I usually don’t mind the “sound” things that come with each holiday, but I have to admit there’s one at Christmas that I can’t take too much of. But, it sure is fun to see their little faces light up with such delight!

That is so fun! By which I mean both adorable and a lot cuter to me since I don’t have to hear “singin’ in the rain” a million times a day! I love her expression though - great shot! And Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Loving those colors!

I’m sure they look forward to it every year! I used to work at a Hallmark store and would always be bombarded with animals like that!

My mom has done this nearly every holiday with my kids, it’s so annoying that they are SO FRIGGEN LOUD

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Which is exactly why Easter is sneaking up on everyone this year. Love the photo (as usual) and hope the bunny doesn’t drive you too nuts.

Lucky you! I was stupid enough to buy an egg with a chick in it that pops out to the music from the chicken dance - what was I thinking??!??

Hmmm….so how long before it turns from cute to painfully annoying??
Ah, singing critters, they attract kids don’t they. She looks very intent…and cute…staring at the bunny!

Aw, that’s so cute. We have something like that for Halloween — a tree with little crows popping out that sings something to the tune of the Addams family theme. Kids love that kind of thing!

I cannot believe we’re already mid-March either…seriously, is time speeding up!?
We had a dancing Christmas monster, which Nadia adored. It was adorbale to watch , but after hearing it for the hundredth time in a row - ENOUGH already! LOL.
That’s a precious shot - lovely framing.
