A Bloggy Day For The Environment

One more easy way to help the environment next Monday if you have a blog.

If you are doing the Small Change Challenge this month, I’d say participating in Blog Action Day would definitely count as extra credit!

Speaking of the Challenge, are you Recycling? Reducing? Reusing? Little half month check here – you still have three weeks to work on this challenge. I have been using my reusable bags while grocery shopping. Every time I shop. I’m getting much better about remembering to put them back in the car.

I also caught J. last night as he was looking through his mail. He walked straight to the recycle bins and sorted his paper and cardboard. Made me so proud. I haven’t had to “dig” anything out of the trash to recycle in a long time. I think I finally taught my “old dog” some new tricks.

Psst…also, while I am prodding you to do stuff for me, will you click over on the BreastCancerSite logo, over there on the right? Click it everyday – help give free mammograms. Thanks!

I have initiated a month-long blogging campaign on environment-related issues at The Giving Hands (http://thegivinghands.org), which had begun on Sept 15th, and will conclude on Oct 15th in conjunction with Blog Action Day. And I’d like to invite you over to my blog to join the campaign and the current discussions. Perhaps you have some tips or experience you’d like to share?
