Gee, did you figure out that we visited the pumpkin patch this past weekend while Nena and Bill were here? If you were unaware, you can revisit the patch with us here and here. Oh, and guess what? Yeah, I’ve got a few more favorites for today, too. Sorry… I just kept importing them and I loved them all.
This is it, though. I promise, no more pumpkin patch photos. If you haven’t had your fill this week (really?!) then you can go visit our Flickr account there on the right. There are some that didn’t make the cut – impossible as it is to believe.
So our pumpkin patch we visited is the one in West Hollywood that apparently everyone in LA goes to. I have many, many photos of “stars” with their kids at this particular patch, but of course there wasn’t even a B-list star there while we were visiting.
Anyhow, the girls rode ponies. Addie kept saying, “I’m ridin’ a horsie! Hey…I’m ridin’ a horsie, Mama. Hi, Daddy! I’m ridin’ a horsie!”
Emma was not entirely too sure about the whole horse thing. She did however get on one, which is a definite advancement from her past dismissals of the ponies.
The highlight of the trip was of course the pumpkin bounce house.
Help! Let us out!!
(Note: No children were harmed in the photographing process here. They were really having quite a good time.)
So many pumpkins – how do we choose just one? And if I just keep putting pumpkins in the wagon, will Mommy and Daddy really notice?
And they had these crazy rocking horses that the girls pretended to like.
And then Daddy picked up where the horsin’ around stopped.
Hitchin’ a ride with the pumpkins – the end of a fun, long day.
One of the many things I love about being a parent is being able to share these kinds of days with the girls. To see their smiles and complete joy with the simplest things, well, that makes the hard parts of parenting just sort of disappear.
