Water Babies

Like moths drawn to a light…the girls cannot resist the siren call of water.

We went to visit Daddy in Culver City and see his new office the other night. In the middle of the little downtown is a cowardly lion fountain – with the water that shoots up from the ground. Oh, it could potentially provide hours of fun on a hot day.

But it was a little chilly and creeping up on bedtime, so the girls just dodged water droplets instead.

And pretended they were lion statues, too.

Em was getting direction from Daddy and was supposed to have her eyes closed.

Then she just stopped and enjoyed the waning sunshine on her face.

And found another little pool of water on our way back to the car.

Looking forward to a hot summer day when we can return and play again.

How fun! What a bummer that it wasn’t warm enough to play…but I bet you’ll get some great shots (and have lots of fun) when it is!

I have been reading your blog for a long time (got here from Momology –gee Christina…all those blogs you have “sent” me to….and if they don’t like me they will blame you!!! Mua ha ha!!) and I just LOVE Crafty Tuesdays….I draw, watercolor, and now make centerpieces and ginormous wreaths for our front door…..usually the size of tractor tires. I have made these items for people by request ….oftentimes with a theme in them. I look forward to participating in this idea and getting to know you and your family better.

By the by, your little ones are just breath-taking….WOW!

Love that shot of her enjoying the sunshine on her face. What sweet shots! That fountain looks like it could provide loads of fun on a hot day. We finally found a water fountain here…of course, it is at the zoo where it costs (loads of) money to get in. *sigh*

What a sensational series. I love these fountains. I love all fountains but the ones you can interact with are the BEST!!! And of course Em in the sun is divine.
