We took a trip to J.’s office on Friday for a little dinner and fun. While we were there, the girls cleaned out Daddy’s change drawer and he had a few of these old juice bottles floating around, that they managed to abscond with as well.
On our way home I hear Em say to Addie –
E: Addie! Just open up the top, like this…
A: Yeah?
E: Then laugh into the bottle.
E: And then quick put the cover on the jar so you can trap your laughs inside the bottle!
And Addie obliges. Of course.
I was trying to get these shots from the front seat without them knowing – so they are not perfect. But when I look at them, I love the idea of bottling up those laughs for someday down the road when I really need to hear them again.
Find out what has everyone else giggling over at Tracey’s today.
Oh, that is so cute, Carrie! Wouldn’t it be great to bottle up those laughs?? They are so adorable when they are having so much fun. 🙂
Ohhh I’d give anything to be able to bottle up Mia’s laugh.
What sweet children you have…and I really dig those shots the lighting is gorgeous 🙂
That’s great… What darlings. We too have the POM glasses – I went through a huge POM faze and kept them all and we use them everyday – lol!
Just lovely. I like the idea of being able to bottle laughter!
oh so adorable!!
Did she come up with that on her own???
Fun stuff! Just bottle up those cuties!
Oh those are so cute! What a sweet memory, bottling up laughter! I love the curls, by the way, I have a curly girl myself!
That is just about the cutest thing EVER! Emma is brillant – how does she know us mamas want to cpature those laughs and save them forever??? I just love this.
That’s adorable – what a perfect childhood moment you’ve captured. Really lovely.
Vic –
OH, yes she did. I mean, maybe she heard it somewhere? But I have no idea where she might have.
I always say that I’d like to bottle up some of their energy to sell, maybe that is what planted the seed in her head?
Oh that is the cutest! I hope they got lots bottled up…I am sure there are times when that bottled laughter will come in awfully handy!
Oh, sweetness. If we only could.
That is so sweet. I love the things kids come up with.
I’m continually amazed by their cuteness!
So precious and I love the first one particularly.
How could you not love the idea of bottling up laughs. The innocence of children just make me melt. Great catch.
It’s great that you’re chronicling (is that even a word?) the sweet things they’re saying while they’re young.
fun shots!
ohhh, that is just so super sweet. you can bottle up the memories too with these photos (I think they turned out great)!
Oh my goodness, that is so precious! I love kiddo laughter, if only we could bottle it.
Oh my! I love it!!! Addie looks very determined to catch her laugh!
I love the idea of saving a laugh for later. I may try that for a rainy day.
That is awesome! What a perfect “little girl” moment.
