Contrast ~ Theme Thursday

I know I’m kind of “phoning it in” this week. And I promise an update and many excuses as to why I have not written anything of substance this week (not that it is that different from most weeks!), but I do have a picture to share for Theme Thursday. Today’s theme was any interpretation of contrast.

I was going to play with some b&w photos and work on contrast, and then I saw this on Tuesday – I thought that this is a pretty cool contrast. How often do you see palm trees and snow in the same shot? Yep, there is snow on our mountains, well, there was anyhow…

Definetly contrast, snowy and wintery and then where did all the green come from? Lovely shot

Wow, beautiful shot and great contrast with the palm tree against the snowy mountain. It does look like it came out of a magazine.

That is so nice – love all the colours – reminds me of Palm Springs – for some reason everytime we go there it snows in the mountains – lol!

What amazing depth of field on this shot – I know that wasn’t the focus/theme but that is what I noticed first 🙂
