I figured that we have had a bit of a run on Em photos this past week, and I have a few hundred others from her party Sunday, so today’s BSM had better be of our sweet Addikins.
The girls have been asking every chance they get to go out to swing – but really Ad just wants Em to twist her up and let her go. Blech! It makes me sick to watch them spin – but they love it.
And my favorite photo – my Best Shot Monday for today…
Check out the other dizzying and great photos over at Mother May I.
Oh they look so happy!
I can’t get over how kids like to spin around… I guess their brains are wired very differently than grownups’ brains.
It even makes me sick to look at it in pictures!!! Nadia loves for my to go on the tire swing with her at the park, but I can’t do it for more than a few seconds at a time. I sure do remember loving to spin as a kid, tho! I can absolutely hear her squeals of delight. And great job capturing the dizzying action so crisply.
Love that last photo … actually, love them all !! Very cute ! Gotta love a good spin … ok, maybe not so much now, but I’m sure I loved it 30 years ago … when I was 5 !
I was wondering how you do your processing to make the outside edges look dark. Not the border, inside the border …
Oh I LOVE spinning on the swings!
Great shots — and look at that beautiful weather! Not fair…we had SNOW on Saturday!
Beautiful light! Daddy just got the girls’ swing set back up in the yard last night. It had in a big pile since the move. The girls are going to have a blast on it today.
i’m with you, watching them spin makes me very sick to my tummy!! i know i used to do it (and love it) though.
fantastic pictures!!
Great pictures–I can hear the squeals of joy now!
I remember doing that, up until I was around 12. Then it started hitting me. Let them enjoy it while they can! 🙂
LOVE the photos – especially the last two of the smaller sized ones….the HUGE GRIN of GLEE on Addie’s face made me smile just looking at it. And the one with her arms thrown wide open is precious!! She is LOVIN’ LIFE!
Looks like they were having a great time! Yes, that would make me sick, too. The kids were running in circles yesterday for 10 minutes…I’m not quite sure how they managed to stand up after that. 😉
LOVE LOVE LOVE These shots!
she looks like she’s trying to get her world back in focus in that last shot!
All are very beautiful! 🙂
funny girl… is she looking at you through binoculars?
I can watch him spin – but if I spin it’s all over. (I need to find someone to take him on the teacups at D-land!)
I so hope M has a little sister one day. That sister-ship is the sweetest ever!!!
I love your pictures. I can totally understand why the last one is your MBS.
THese are great… but my favorite one is the one right about your favorite!
AMEN – it makes me SICK too – but I heard from my daughters ENT that, this kind of spinning is needed for a child’s growth and development. It does something to help stabilize there inner ear…so now I try to look on it as a “good thing” but UGH it’s nasty!
wow those are so beautiful! but i think i’m a little queasy just from the photos!!!!
How much fun! I like this swing too…I’ve been looking for one!
I love the one with her hands in the air – so cute!
Great series. You totally get the feel of the spinning! And her sunglass fingers? Too cute.
we love swing spinning here too. fabulous pics! 🙂
